Jewfish outfit off the rocks

Does anyone have any links from previous posts as to what rod and reel combos are being used to target jewies off the rocks.

Need to throw 3/4 oz and 5"/7" plastics on 20-30lb braid with a 40lb leader. Also casting 50m.

Its going to depend on where your fishing Rob, and how big the fish average. In this neck of the woods 30lb is minimum you'd want to go.
