I am looking to buy a genuine Plate Boat around 5mtrs does the Mclay fall into this.

Yep, wrong board, and yep, they are a proper plate boat. Bit shallow in the V for my preferences, but I did look closely at them. They seem to be a quality well built boat from our KIWI friends across the ditch.

Do some checking on their equivalent website and ask some questions, they love Aussies visiting their chat boards!
