second spool for FJ 3000

Would anyone know where I could get a second spool for my stradic FJ 3000 in Brisbane?

Hmm. I was told NO. No spare spools for the Stradic FJs can be purchased and no idea when they might become available! But when they know they will let me know.

Doesn't make sense to me but I also haven't seen them online overseas either which is a real pain if I wanted to use lighter braid.

Is this a trick to see if people will buy two reels ?

I saw some spare spools, including a 3000FJ, on Ebay a couple of months ago, but unfortunately I didn't buy one! Price was about $40, not including postage. You could try contacting Shimano Australia through their website or give them a call. Failing that, maybe contact Shimano North America. The demand for spare Stradic FJ spools probably surpassed Shimano's expectations!
