Got up at stupid o'clock this morning drove down to Kingscliff in time for the last hour of the run in tide around sunrise. I was thinking there might be a few school Jew in the river mouth after all this rain, I was using whole beach worms and didn't even get a sniff. Not even a pesky bream or dart to chew my bait off.

All a bit disappointing but beats going to work. Anyone else had any luck with the school jew lately?

No joy for me either on the jewy front GN. Can't find any worms with the 'high' low tides at the moment either. On the bright side there is some massive tailor around! Ben

yeah mate ... I tried with fresh mullet in Talle Creek last week, and not a sniff - not even bream!
But full moon this week looks the goods with high tides in early evening :-)
