Fellas thinking of buying a bantax 3000 king pin, anyone using bantax gear had any dramas.

Have had a couple of banax reels, IMHO quite ok for the money. The little SI I had was a beauty.
The kingpin didn't get the best rap here, tho'.....

Mate and I bought a pair of low end baitcasters from OS a while back, before they became commonly available in Australia. mine's still fine, but his failed second trip, when stripped down the gears inside were plastic. Mine's probably still fine coz it hasn't left the shed since I saw the guts of his!
