Just wanted to kick of a thread where anyone can place reports of conditions in the bay and georges river as its my playground

last weekend went out looking for kings water condition still a little off with the breakawy weed still flowing down thru the bay tailor where out in force , did nt manage any live squid so pinned up a couple of small tailor and pulled them about

took a bonnie after about an hour of tugging them about then threw in the towel and zoned in on the flathead off the beach with nuclear chicken and pulled a good feed

the bonnie made great fish cocktails in tampura batter
and the flathead was sweet on the bbq sunday with family

Ditto, ex Belmore boy here. Spent most weekends either fishing Botany Bay - Bunnerong near the old power station chasing hairtail, or the airport runway for bream and trev's.

Spent the other half of my life growing up at Culburra and Crookhaven RIver

Mum was a great one for getting on to the Trevs near the runway.

High tide tues night around midnight and a ship in the caltex pen moored up between the cans was host to millions and millions of yakkers going wild at first i thought it to be a school of tailor with the water spalsing out all around the ship , i think they must of been releasign food or balist water for they where around the ship and nowhere else after i picked up a few and pinned them up draged them around the cans and up and down the oil rig for no result , night ended with little to show for it other than a dozen tailor from the hot water outlet on topwater hard bodies.
