Darwin christmas fishing adventure...

Well its been a couple of years since i had been home so i was excited to get back into it. Landed in Darwin mid Dec a quick slap in the face from th humidity and now i remember why i left. i prefer to breath my air rather than eat it... Parents have organisied a bbq on the weekend for my step dad so out to collect a crab or 2...

Headed out once more before christmas for a couple more crabs nothing to get too excited about...
Christmas comes and goes and i am now itching to get out for a good fish, Boat loaded up at 5:30 headed to a area we used to frequent, (if only the brissy river fished like this...) Started about 6:30 am and finished by lunch
6:00am and i have now realised that i have forgotten the shapes it is becoming a bad day with lots of emotions the only thing to keep me going.. well pictures tells a thousand words...

hey luke, good fishing mate. sounds like a great holiday. having a bit of trouble working out what you're saying here. did you go back in time?, do you have lunch at 6am?, what shapes? i'm missing the thousand words?? what are you on up there? and did you eat some of your chili just before each pic?

It is a bit scattered brain because it is my second day as a stay at home dad and bub was waking up so very hurried been trying for a week to get a report up.
Boat loaded at home at 5:30am heading to boat ramp about 20min away 6am motoring to spot about half way there i realise i have forgotten the holy grail on my boat (shapes are a must) 6:30 am drop lines and photos show what hits the deck a lot of finger mark snaps a couple of moon fish and the odd trev... all on bait... Plastics my ass ;D;D;D;D
Ive had the family follow me from Darwin so Aussie day weekend i should have that jar ready for you, its the only chance i will get also for Mossy as promised.
Did i mention how good the Chilli crab was:o:o:o bloody hot the next day...

Mate looking forward to it. I have been trying to keep some nice squire around mud there should be plenty when your keen to fish mate, davo's been fishing around peel of late letting the snapper stocks off mud grow i think. let me know when your keen to go mate.
