Hey guys,
Making 2 setups for friends as gifts who do a fair bit of estuary live bait fishing for barramundi, jacks, salmon etc in north QLD (tend to bycatch a lot of smaller model bull sharks though). Each setup is the same and I have ordered 2 Abu Garcia BCX (red) reels, and enough 30lb braid to spool them up.
Was wondering what class rod to get? Thinking 8-10kg? Any recommendations?
Really just going to get the cheapest one from BCF in the most suitable class range, just wanted to make sure this wasn't going too heavy.
