Got there about 3 hours before high flicked out a couple of rods one with mullet one with prawns the mullet had me hooking up on 5 shovel nose rays all around the 750mm mark followed by several good bream on prawns as well as a 65cm tailor put out a bream live bait on a float to pick up a bull shark around 1.5m once the tide started to flow out i got a few bites but i got a bit snaggy, no luck with the plastics but i didnt get to flick them really till the tide was going out due the the chaos around me, lots of weed on the outgoing

Those shovel nose sure like to school as I remember about a decade ago catching 3 or so one after the other at night at shorncliffe. You sure are dedicated with all that rain last night. Sounds like loads of fun though.Did you keep any?

nah threw everything back except for one legal bream which i used for a livie. It absolutly pissed down with rain but it kept the mossies away and all you other buggers too, lol only one boat out and they didnt last long.

Sounds like fun but are you sure it was weed and not toilet paper on your line;D?

nah mate never had my shirt off, i was the only one on the rocks till very late. right by the chute

Ahh ok, i fished near the chute most of the day with a friend in his boat and just before we left there was 2 guys that started fishing off the rocks next to the chute. It started pissing down as we were bringing the anchor up, the guys quickly took there shirts off to keep them dry hahaha.
