You could try a Perspex/ Plastics supplier/ repairer.
Cheers.

A butchers supply should have the teflon type

best bet is to go to a proper plastics supplier, they can give you stuff that is UV resistant and will not crack and buckle in the sun, and will cut it to size for you, or buy a cheap cutting board and repace it now and then, which is probably a good option too.

The stuff you are after is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). I got some to convert an ironing board into a filleting table.
You can get it from Australian Sheet Traders. http://www.australiansheettraders.com.au/index.php?page=products

It isnt nylon, its actually HDPE. any half decent chandlery should be able to get some.

it is a pretty common misnomer that cutting boards are "teflon" or 'plastic" but in fact it has almost nothing to do with Teflon, you need to buy "plastic" to suit what you want to use it for, there is stuff that suits wear and abrasion, stuff that is slippery (for trailers) there is stuff that floats and so on, that's why you need to go to a proper plastics supplier.

Collected the bait board today. Smooth surface, easy to clean, soft enough to prevent damage to the knives edges without leaving gouges, food safe, suits my needs!!!
