I had to go somewhere, so i called in and chucked a few sp in Kawana Lake.
Pretty rediculous, a kid asked me how I was going, I said, maybe it's a bit windy...............
Then as I brought the sp in , I noticed a fish following, 2 mtrs from me, so I stopped the sp , and the tailor hit it and jumped and threw the jig......
He was 50cm... and jumped right in front of me .
Had about a hundred casts after that just to see if there were any more about................
lo luck, but it was a great experience....

There are some good sized flathead in there too.

Couple of beers, flick some plastics - not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Lake kawana is shocking when there is any wind about it would of been horrid yesterday.

Yer I just got in the lee side of a couple of big houses.. and cast at 90 deg to wind.....
They pump water from the Mooloolah Rv into this lake...... and some fish get land locked and grow....
