Hi All,

thought id try this, due to my work and my friends work (not many friends anyway)and they arnt mad fishos like me,I struggle sometimes to get a fishing buddy to come with me.

Im a genuine hard working 32 year old.i would fish all day everyday if i could, unfortunately i only get the weekend off.

I need a fishing buddy or 2 who are keen to come out with me sometimes.

I have a 15 ft alu centre console boat with a 60hp,stereo,bimini top, live bait tank, lights, jackets, all the safety for inshore, and plenty of fishing area.dont expect to see a tournament boat, just a old dehavilland with heaps of battle scars, but she dont sink.

i abide by rules and laws, and will not jeopardise the safety of me or my passengers.I will not go outside due to the age of the motor (80s Johnson),but the motor is super reliable.
I dont accept drugs or grog on my boat,Dont mind if you smoke because i do.I fish mainly caboolture river, moreton bay, bribie passage, pine rivers and all its tributaries.I chase flathead, bream, jew and jacks all on plastics only, rarely use bait, mainly just a livie or 2 out the back while i lure fish.

I have the boat, car, everything, even a spare rod for a mad keen fisho like me,if needed.

All i ask is you come and say hello to me first at my house,so we can meet, then id be keen to take you out,as long as you can get to my house.

let me know if anyone is keen.Im happy to pay costs first couple trips, only cost me $25 per trip in fuel anyway.

I need a buddy this saturday,i thinking of bribie, maybe start around 5.30 am and chase jacks, jew, flathead around all the canals.

Dont care if your big, small, female, pink, brown or blue,as long as you like fishing, and are as mad as me to catch them, and will respect my requests and property.

You might even know better spots than me,all good, always open to suggestion.

pm me if your keen

i live at caboolture

thats a sweet offer adam, if only this was a week earlier when i was up there on holidays (im on the goldy) i would have loved to come out as the missus wouldn't let me take the boat on 'her' holiday.

out of interest, if it doesn't let you down in the estuary why dont you trust the motor to go offshore?

hi all, thanx for all the pms,ill reply to you all later today, tonight, looks like a have plenty of new fishing buddies.

Unfortunately,i wasnt able to go out today, due to a sick child,I will however be out next weekend.

And bar raider, yes, shes super reliable, but at 25+ years old,its at the age when a power pack, starter, something like that has to finally give to wear and tear in my opinion, and id rather not find out the hard way,i have 3 children and a wife i love coming home to.I will be updating boats in the next 12 months to accomodate for offshore.
