Nice fish smoked. What plastics were you using? We went out on sunday and they were busting everwhere, all we got were two birds.

I tangled with a couple of LT's yesterday between Harries and St Helena. After 30 mins straightened hooks ...I reckon around 20kg ....my fault for not upgrading the treble on the slug, then lost one after chasing it with motor to recover line which became slack and it spat the hook. IDIOT !!! But the Stradic 3000 was nearly at the backing and I was solo.

Shattered! Theyre the first things I make sure I upgrade on metals before throwing em at tunas. I'm yet to land a moreton bay longtail and that will be my main target this coming season. Iv landed a heap of hervey bay longtail biggest going 13kg on 20lb gear. Great fun... As a matter if fact that's where we'll be this weekend. Hopefully they come out and play...

Nice video. I was waiting for "Sponsored by Shimano" in the credits :P
I couldn't find them last Sunday. Ran from Manly to Tangalooma only found tailor schools around Mud on the way back. Back at ramp by 10:30. Probably should have stayed out a bit longer. Beautiful weather.
Will try again this weekend. Been some very large mac tuna getting about.

They were still about today in decent sized schools north of Harries. They were very flightly could only get maybe one decent cast per drift before they rocket off. Got a smallish one before most of them moved into the green zone heading into the northerly wind. Gotta watch that one.
Cheers
