Just quering. Do the tiger prawns come on in the bay soon ???

Yeah thought so. Normally catch bananas then but wasn't sure if tigers come on earlier.

You can buy Tigers down at yatala 365 days a year. They are farmed on the banks of the logan river by a locally owned business. $18kg from memory.
yeah, they are farmed by locally owned business. They finish harvesting in April, and they are still being sold in the Xmas period as fresh local tiger prawns.
I heard there were some tigers around last month. I'm guessing the trawlers might have been onto them. But it's just a guess.

Yeah those tigers are snapped frozen and sold as fresh for Xmas.
There are brown tigers getting around this month, as Pero said, the trawler ops have got onto em. Spoke with a trawler op at Capalaba yesterday and has them in the shop at $22.00 kilo.
