Hi all i went to underwater world on saterday and in one there fresh water displays the were many large barra 100cm to 140cm and in with them was a very large jack that would have gone close to a mt going by the other barra in with it , after seeing this jack i thought about the stocking of jacks in the dams so far and how big there going to get ,ive heard they could get to 90pound over time ,im sure after seeing this jack at its size would easly out pull all the big barra in that tank , after 3 years from stocking a jack was caught at tinarroo dam and went 3.6kg i think and 57cm around a pound heavier than the same size ive caught in the salt and it was a fat one and years older , so what are these fish going to do when they reach the weight of the biggest barra that have been caught in the dams already ,well i think unstopable even for the best stella or saltiga spinner or best over head looked up :o food for thought and exciting times ahead if they increase the stocking of jacks in the dams althought a lot more expenceive to stock i belive cheers Chris.
