Whiting and a couple of Sandies

Dad and I got back over to the sandhills today and ended up with 60 Whiting between us. It took quite a while to get them as it was very lumpy early but once the bay calmed they came on the bite.

We had to fish for them though they were'nt swallowing the bait as they were a few weeks back, only two grinners.

It was a s%$thouse trip over but thankfully comming back wasnt too bad.

On the way over we dropped four pots at spot X (you know where im talking about rosco1974) loaded with some Whiting frames form the last outting and eneded up with two of the biggest sandies ive seen in ages not bad from a four hour soak.

Through back a couple of undersize and two jennys all in all good morning on the bay.

mate went over with a friend, left there about 8-30 as it was getting lumpy
they only got 12 whiting.........
im looking forward to the sandies

a good feed there mate. you need a bigger boat mate,am sure u can get rach to let u get 1...just put a few pots out this morning to have a look.only put 1 pot near that spot x .have them widespread will see how i go tomorrow.
