Seen some colours and worm combinations that I think would be winners over here for a few different specific uses.
Lot of styles and colours and sizes we do not even see here and I guess anything different is worth a try, instead of throwing the same old gear to the fish.
I have heard customs can stop these coming over, is it true or are the Gulps ok?
Cheers

Will be a problem if you buy over $1,000 mate from waht I understand. With the Gulp look at Big W mate if there is one handy.
I am living here in the US at the moment. Gonna stock up big time when I leave. Like you say variety and price is amazing here compared to home. (Makes you wonder who is making a killling ay?)

Wont be buying a $1000 worth of gulps, unless I was a nutter or opening a shop.
Yes but Big W dont have the ones I see on Ebay in the US.
guess I could buy a few packs and if they dont make it then thats it.

In short no.. Customs grab them on the way in and destroy them...did to mine. Was only a few packets but bloody annoying.

Customs stopped mine too. Suppliers won't release the MSDS that you need to get them through.
My plastics got nabbed by customs too.
From memory something about the secret scent which may have been organic on some strange brand i thought i might try.
Have had luck with non scented /dry plastics though.
cheers

I have bought gulps from amazon.com from the us. Very very cheap and didnt get nabbed.
It's a gamble with scented plastics - or anything described as creatures or frogs ::) they seem to get held up regularly.
See if you can get them described as fishing lures ....... If I have doubts , that's what I ask of the sender.
Ultimately - its roll the dice & take your chances

I sent the guy a message and asked if they could swap it for another product - couple of little bream/bass crank baits.
I think the oil in the Gulps would most probably stop the package getting through.
Which is strange in a way as we get all sorts of crap from overseas coming in commercially, including food, and there is no way they could vouch for every item.

I have bought about 60 packs from the US and havent had any problems, can't remeber if any of the packages had been inspected though, I haven't got any in the last 12 months so things may have changed, I don't think that I would try with the gulp alive.

I haven't got them for some time but I used to buy them by the carton, (6 packets to a box, 6 boxes to a carton), never had a drama but maybe things have changed recently.
