Hit the brissy again today for a lazy lunchtime session and came up trumps. Scored a Cod first up again then a little fella around 60cm. Then this better than average one snaffled a plastic on my 1-3kg rod with 10lb leader. Great fun fight chasing him around with the leccy:D. Went just under a meter. Ben
nice one blooey. another day off! I gotta change jobs or something.

Top effort on the light stick. Hopefully the River boys will pull a few good fish for the River 2 Mud M&G

Ta guys, seriola ilandi (hoodlum?) TT's made the jig i just modified it with some glow powdercoat and some big eyes. Horse, I was probably closer to mud than the river. Might see if i can make it to the meet. Ben
re hoodlum - it was the spur of the moment thing, someone beat me to the exact name.
i do the same thing with the jigs heads. powder coat cost a bit through afn but i think it makes a difference, well thats what i tell myself. wife thinks im crazy.

Good stuff Ben, That's a nice jewie mate, well done.
So you didn't chase any Penguin's today, shame.
TO much bloody weed up my end of the bay, i might have to start looking at the river.
Cheers,
John.

Yeah Chris, snapback and powdercoating is well... just that. Heat up the jig head dip it in the powder then harden in the oven. I think the eyes might be the biggest trigger for the fish though. The penguins had to wait John but i'll get that title off you again! Ben

Nice one mate, i was trying to have a close look at that jighead. Wondering what weight it was , it's been so important to match the weight to the plastic to get that presentation of a nice fall when sinking. Did he smash it on the drop??

1/4 oz chief can't be sure of hook size but extra heavy wire headhunter. No diddn't smash it on the drop. Believe it or not ate it deadsticked in the rodholder! Ha Ha
