just be wary of the bar its very shallow
cheers
ken
I did hear from Boat Hog that the Minnie Water lagoon road was washed away and you have to drive up from the shop
plenty of leather jackets out over the 60m mark (see the leather jacket thread on here)
things will change in a few weeks but there are plenty of slimies around now, very dirty water atm so plenty of snapper in close and if you can beat the jackets there are heaps of Trag

hey good as gold
the bar there is shallow but okay on the run in,i've only been out in summer, and the runout is not good, this time of year the swell from the south would probably worth a long look first, there's plenty of reefy structure about watch out for the bomby just out from the bar, there's plenty of broken reef east/sou east from the bar 2k if that just sound around,as they say you don't have to be a good snapper fisherman to get good fish this time of year down this way
cheers mal
watch out for the marine park boundary's they are all over the shop

Cheers Guys
Its a bugger the guys that have organised the trip have it planned when there is an arvo low tide so will have to pull the pin buy lunch.
If there is no swell is the run out still a bitch.
I have fished out of sandon so I know th MP are are a pain.
I never get tired of watching this haha

what vehicle/boat are you launching? the Wooli bar can be ugly but mostly good, if it is not looking good then go to the Minnie Water Lagoon ;) I recon Sandon bar is heaps worse than Wooli
def watch the reef out the front of the bar at Wooli, it breaks with very little swell and catches you if you are not used to the area
are you in a house at Minnie?
might see you on the water

That you tube clip You can watch it over and over every time it pops up. I have a 5m open with a sixty so shallow and messy no probs I use thin pin bar and currumbin, just know when to pull the pin when the swell gets to big. We are staying at wooli on the river. 19th august so hope the weather holds.
