Damn weed on the Bay today - everywhere!

Today (Tuesday) was the day you dream of in central Moreton bay. Water like glass, not a breath of wind, squillions of fishos after whiting and good size ones were everywhere but ..................... blo#dy slimy, moss like weed was on the bottem everywhere!

The Small Boat Passage in the Rous Ch was firing wherever you chose to pitch a line in but within a few seconds the entire rig was covered in this stinking weed.

Add to this that the weather was just too good and with the water having unlimited visibility just proves there is always something to stuff up your day!

When the bottom is covered in that slime weed try a paternoster rig or even 1/2 a Sabiki bait jig with small bits of bait. The weed keeps close to the bottom and the fish will feed above it
