Bought a Saragossa 4000 the other day as i have been so happy with my 18000. After some advice for a rod to match this reel please. It will mainly be used in the bay.
Cheers

What sort of budget are you thinking of and what targets/ line class are you looking at. SPs, metals or bait all makes a difference

Sorry for lack of info, i have some 20lbs braid i will try on it first. Mainly fish baits but starting to use plastics a bit as well. Be round bout $200-$300 i would think.

I would agree with Byron. The Starlo Tournament Pro Maxspin is a great rod for the price at less than $130. The T curve is certainly a step up in component quality and would probably suit you prety well

I paired my Saragosa 4000 Loomis Greenwater GWMR783S.....so far I've got no complaints.

What about a Team Daiwa Advantage 701HFS rod? I have one of these for my Stradic 4000, and find it to be fantastic all round rod. I bought it 5-6 years ago for about $215. Best rod I have ever had!
