Long time between drinks

Good evening. It has been a very long time since I have put up a post on Ausfish and it’s also been a very long time since the last fish this is due to work, weather and family commitments. Brent called asking if I wanted to dust off the cobwebs and take the fishing gear out of storage. The wife gave me a hall pass to only go fishingJ. The plan was to head for the bay around 3pm.The weather could have not been any better. We ended up with 4 fish ranging from 82cm to 40cm. It was a good welcome back to fishing. Thanks Brent for the phone call and for the little push I needed.

Brent asked me to come out for a fish but i had a big night on Saturday and was way too hung over on Sunday.

Hi Steve that photo doesn't do the fish justice it was a real brute that gave you a good arm stretch.
I still can't believe how much power it had on the first run.
Steve had a job just getting the rod out of the holder it was buckled over almost tip to rod butt.
Mate thanks for the trip its always great to get out there with good fishing buddy's and come home with a bonus feed of fresh snapper.

Hi Neil, Usual grounds mate.
Just heard on the news its down to 4 snapper next year and no closed season.
Hope we catch up with you in the northern bay sometime.
