caught these in a couple of hours in moreton, it would of been a good day by nsw standards as we easily bagged out according to there rules but had to settle with releasing half the catch to keep the stock up of the threatened species in qld waters :P

Hooray for the threadybusters! I can't wait to use my little collection up in Hervey Bay in a couple of weeks time. Any tips on the best way to fish them for snapper? Also, what's the biggest bream you've caught on 1 so far?

Yeh Jonno, just throw ahead of your drift in 10-20m of water, out on wathumba reef it probably takes about 20 -30sec to get them down, they clean up on trevally ally as well, if you dont get hit on the drop crank them in a bit, then drop down again. they do best where current suits a weight of around 1/4 to 1/6, you have to work the tide changes on spots like the arti reef. 30 odd cm is my pb bream in the river, plenty get missed on the larger hooks preferred for the jew.
