Can't format text or add images in new post

Seems like there is some issue (for me) with formatting. Just threw my first post since the upgrade and I can't format it or put carriage returns in. Also can't add images to the post. Anyone know what the go is? Tried in bot IE and Firefox.

I have found using HTML tags works in most cases. It seems to be changing to HTML even though it is turned off. none of the hyperlink buttons seem to work either.

Yep same problem here. Cant format text or add smilies either.
