As you can see the forums have been upgraded. Some features have been lost and some gained.

We will be adding a new classifieds section soon. Unfortunately the classified software for the old forum is not compatible with the new version.

You can now use the forum on your Iphone, Android, I pad, etc using Tapatalk.

Hi Steve, the upgrade looks good, but when viewing a thread the page margins are too wide.
If you can fix that all looks great. Keep up the good work.

Cheers Ron

And bigger writing would be nice so I can read it.
It reminds me of trying to read a message on my mobile phone....something I tend not to do.

Also the post count needs to go. Seeing it makes me realise I need a life :D

Hi Steve

Nice Look! Fresh & Updated. I see the Thanks icon has been removed? That's ashame! Could you provide instructions to everyone how to obtain Tapatalk on there smart phones? Are you planning on updating the look of the browser menu? ie: Products, Hints & Tips, Fishing Forum etc? Would be great to see it blended in with the new look forum and a slightly larger font size.

Regards
Wayne.

Yes that is a shame it was nice to be able to say thanks to someone who had offered some good advice and or helped out with a question/issue.

Yep, same for me, I have to scroll across for ages to read the text, does not seem to be any kind of "wrap around" setting that I could find.

As others have said

I am out in the middle of Woop Woop on a Telstra Turbo pre-paid modem - and the speed is better than yesterday - good stuff. But when I select 'reply to thread' I don't get a new page - I have to use the quick reply. And the button to post the reply is waaaay across to the right - I need to drag the bottom cursor a long way to find it. Otherwise looks good.

Scroll problem is an issue with IE. Will try and find it and fix it as soon as possible.

Click on Go Advanced if you want to not use teh quick reply option

Cheers - What about the "thanks" from previous version? will they be carried across, or will we all start at zero?

Also, the forsale section no longer exists?

The drop down menu's to navigate to different forums seems cast behind the title block across the top of the page..
The "Forums. Blogs.What's new" bar covers the drop down menu;

Also I dislike the washed out light blue colour of the font of the thread titles, hard on the eyes for me personally

Someone's already disliked me. :(
Is that a reason to hate the world and take drugs?? Well it's a good enough reason for a lot of crims isn't it??

Oh well. Such is life :D

Woohoo. the post count is off again. Thanks Steve ;D

How do you search for your own posts?
Both the search function using your name and in your members profile "find all posts" come back with "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms"
Also reply to thread icon doesn't work, it just redirects you to quick response.

To find your own posts just click on - Quick Links - Subscribed Threads

Click on - Go Advanced - if you need more options to reply

Hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing another issue with internet explorer - when I click on the item to go to new post first, I'm only going to the last page, not directly to the newiest post.

Is this a IE problem or just my computer? I'm still experiencing the plain issues as well by having to scroll all the way to one side for reading and posting.

Thanks

Pazz

To find your own posts just click on - Quick Links - Subscribed Threads

This only shows all the old threads Ive posted on that may have been updated. Its very messy.
i used to be able to click on my name, and see the posts Ive made in order of newest to oldest, this was much better.

If Im trying to find a post I made a few days ago, I have to wade through all these threads that are irrelevant to me.

Any way to just see my own posts in date order?

cheers
Andrew

Click on - Go Advanced - if you need more options to reply

subscribed threads shows just that - only threads you have subscribed to not just replied to. ( I havent subscribed to any threads so I get zero results)
I can only find posts using "advanced search" since forum upgrade, nothing from before.

Hi,

Just on the searching/older threads - It seems the search function is only showing results since forum upgrade, and then from 2006(Dec) and older? (Havent tested in extensively, but I was trying to find a thread from a few months back, and searching has produced nothing)

If I click on quick links, subscribed threads I can view threads I've posted in before upgrade and previous...

OK what's the FM button? Am I glad there is none? Is it like FM on the wireless? I notice there is no line gaps either in posts. Everything is just a continuation with no paragraph thingo's

You need to increase the image size so we can post photos in the gallery. All my images were only taken at 3.1mp which is not very large. But your system is saying the photo is too large to upload.

Also need to look at any issues with uploading signature photos as I was able to successfully upload one and it shows this under Member Control but not on my posts.

Cheers
