trolling for mackeral....mono or braid

Hi wondering what you guys use, myself and most people i know use mono for the extra stretch/give you get when they hit but i tryed braid with a mono leader the other day and it seemed to work ok as well.

It all works, it just depends on whether you're trying for a line class capture or just want fish in the boat. I'm probably being a bit of a tosser, but I just don't feel right taking a sport fish on braid. Having said that "each to his own"!

I used to fish only braid

now I am enjoying the use of light mono on sports fish

and all fish are very catchable on mono
