cocoa Creek Townsville

just wondering how cocoa creek is fishing looking at taking a small boat up there tomorrow and was wondering if any one could point me in the right direction

Hi all

Went out to Cocoa Creek today and had a great day.

Fished the incomeing tide and come home with 3 large Grunter. also had a lot of small bream which is good to see the creek in good condition. We did not have the crab pots out but the bank was lined with them. all in all a very good day and a great dinner.

well done mate, I haven't fished it for ages, but yes the channel heading out is usually good for a few decent sized grunter. Plenty of barra and jacks around too I've been told....but not where unfortunately
