Hi guys,
I forgot to put this one up last week-
the night before I headed offshore with BB, I had a quick fish in the river with Beau.
Been ages since i'd been down there and it was good to get back in the river, last time i fished it summer was still in full swing. Have been trying a few different positions for my sounder transducer and pretty much failed on the latest attempt, the sounder wasn't much good to us and we had a slow start to the night.
Fished a variety of spots and ended up with a nice bream, a good size river tailor at 58-59cm, and a jew at ~80cm. Left the bragmat at home so measurements were a bit dodgy against the sticker on my casting deck lol.
Had some interesting port activity with some RIB dive boats full of frogmen and irate security guards telling us to be 40m away while we were already more like 60 lol (one who put in a false report to the water cops that I had no lights on all night, soon confirmed as bulls*** by the water police who were very nice about it)
Anyhow, heres the pics. Jewie took the 80mm threadybuster very deep and we were unable to surgerise effectively, so Beau had a munch the next night. said it was great ;D
