Morning,
I'm looking for an old style fishing creel I'm not sure if anyone makes them any more . But they were made out ot woven ratan or cane, they were like a cane basket with a flip up lid and a shoulder strap. If anyone knows of anyone who still makes them I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank's
Gary

gday mungindi,
The old creels are the go mate, got a shed full of them, keep an eye on e-bay and you will have one in no time !!

I hope you fish with an Alvey, cos it's an Alvey reel that fills the creel!

I know Gary, but I have seen people, who I assume to be southern folks, on the beach at Moreton using some geared, many moving parts contraptions:-X

I love my Alveys and Gary Howard rods for the beach, just beautiful.

Good luck filling the creel!

Cheers,
Myles
