I just joined you all today, My name is John and I live in Northern end of Adelaide, I am restoring (trying to) an old 6.25 fibreglass boat, not sure what brand it is as I cant find any ID. I think it was made in the 70's-80's, maybe Savage or Carabbean. Anyway I often search the net looking for info and usually end up here so decided to join.
My boat was registered as a fishing boat in Darwin and had a diesal engine and jet, I only bought the trailer and empty hull (many years ago). Because there was already a hole in the transom for the jet, I have decided to install another jet and V8, so I am using a 302 Cleveland and Hamilton 3 stage jet.
I am just preparing to take it of the trailer and turn it up side down in my shed (wish me luck) so I can start at the bottom and fix up the hull
I look forward to some positive advice!!!
