i read my post i put up yesterday, thismorning and realised how much better reports are with photos so i thought just for the sake of the ausfish community ill go out again thisafternoon just to snap a few photos because the rain wasnt around. its not like i wanted to go fishing or anything :S
exact same deal as yesterday minus the rain squidgy wrigglers steady slow retrieve with long pauses and got quite a few good flathead one jew which i was happy about on my 6lb leader and a greedy little whiting who must of come in for a look. all released for another day. its so easy driving 10 minutes down the road having a flick with some plastics releasing the fish comming home quick hose down and a flush. very enjoyable clean fishing!

surprised with the results considering the water was dirtier then yesterday after the heavy rain we received thismorning.

A top way to end the work day. Good to see the caboolture river can still produce the goods.

Do you know if there are any muddies about ?

Comp in the river the other weekend saw quite a few small jew caught. Going to be a good season I think.

Got another comp (local club) in the river this weekend, I'll be trying for some late season bullies though.

have not tried crabbing in the caboolture river for a long time lots of sharefarmers around the area. as for the wrigglers 100mm wrigglers i find anything smaller the bream hit to often good if you want to catch bream but i prefer the 100mm jobbys.
lots of bullsharks around atm mate. have a great spot if your interested in it. run out tide big rise lots of bait and very active sharks.
