got home around 3 oclock thisafternoon and it started raining. rain only lasted 15 minutes so i checked the radar and there was not much to be seen. so headed off to burpengary ck boat ramp with the boat only to find out its closed due to works there atm. so headed down to the horrid new'' uhlman rd boat ramp and threw in there. went down the river abit to an area that holds lots of bait. and started throwing some plackys around. in the rain and the wind for about 20 minutes finally a break in the weather and the wind and rain disapeared and we got in half hours good fishing. landed 3 flathead biggest going 44cm and the other 2 alot smaller missed a few good hits and had plenty of plastics bitten in half by either bream or pike. water is quite dirty still so a little patience and persistence needs to be applied squidgy wrigglers in gold flash were the producers. no photos sorry guys as the fone got left in the car due to the rain.

Good on you burleyguy. I wish I was closer to a ramp. BUt every trip is at least 30-45 minutes and much more in peak hour traffic which on the gateway starts around 6 am.

Nice effort mate did you get caught in that unforseen 45knots of wind, made things interesting at the ramp to say the least. :)
