Fished a little run off creek in the NT last week and caught plenty of Barramundi and a little surprise - a fat Mangrove Jack. He went a touch over 60cm but was a solid little trucker. The two fish pictured were followed up by some angry and hungry whaler sharks, we had to pull them up into the boat by the leader (no time for landing nets) otherwise it would of been half fish for us. I used a classic Barra lure in guns"n"roses colour - these are built tough as. I was disappointed with a Warlock lure where it lost heaps of paint on the snags but had a great action.
Didn't see any crocs this trip - I think all of the sharks ate them
