I sent a staff member a " business card " sms from my Nokia E51 mobile. His phone is an iphone thing.... ( we are both on Telstra ) still haven't recieved it.
Sent same " business card " sms to $29.95 Crazy Clarks phone on Vodaphone plan, and turned up in 10 seconds ?
I am assuming it is a settings problem ?????
I am iphone illiterate :-? :-?
any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance.
Phill

I have problems where the business card appears in a different format or wont open and is unable to be read, either way should have received something whether or not he can use the info is another thing.

Nope, from what i know Iphone wont accept a business card from anything but another I phone, Nothing will tell you you just dont get it.
Not sure but i dont think you can send a business card from an i phone to anything but an iphone as well.
I think its just an Apple thing,
Just send the number instead.
Come on Phill time to get into the new age gadgets.

Tell said staff member to kill the iphone, and buy a normal phone. Problem fixed :D
I have a normal phone, and find numerous problems with mates with iphones, bluetooth and "business cards".

Iphones use MMS for business cards, that could be why its not working from the Nokia? works from an android to my iphone and vice versa... But... if its taking 45mins to receive a txt on the IPhone, does this happen for him every time? may be a provider setting problem, or the iphone may need to be updated or OS re-loaded.
cheers
