I have a number of marks for fishing in the shallow water (35-40m) at wide caloundra but the exploration is on for the deeper water. Can anyone help out with a starter mark for the deep water 50m+...... I have been to the east as some have suggested but obviously I am not going far enough...or am I going in the wrong direction......any help would be appreciated..

There are a couple of generic databases on other forums. If you take a few marks out you will have the general area then keep an eye on the sounder as you are travelling around and see if you can find your 'own" spots.

I fish Wide Caloundra regulary as well, and if I found a peak 35-40m it would be the peak from hell! All the ground out there is 70-80m. 25km due north is about where you want to be. Jump on a chart and you'll see it. The last trip before Xmas, the pearlies and trag were in good numbers
