Staying at Yandina for couple of nights, and i am wondering how are all the estuaries up here fishing with all this rain? In particular the Noosa River. Thanks

Got back today from 5 nights up at Noosa. Couldn't manage to catch a thing except catfish and undersize bream and a few garries. Big schools of garfish about, they didn't seem to mind the fresh. Couldn't mind any herring with the cast net, but did manage a few nice poddies. One of them got taken by a catty which I cut off at the jetty (couldn't be bothered dealing with another one and risk getting spiked) but the rest were untouched the whole time.
Tried Munna Point with lures and livies, nothing happening there. One guy was catching bream, and there was a huge eel frame on the bank with had been filleted and left there. Tried the mouth of the river as well, only for some undersize bream and nothing on the metal slugs.
Probably just my bad luck though, have a look around and you might find something.
Cheers,

I was in noosa yesterday for work, the water is bloody brown as and there is that much traffic it would get way to annoying.
