Boxing Day Spotties

I went for a run on Boxing Day with my brother Glenn (Cervelo). It was cold and wet all day and a few hours off Point Lookout only produced one Wahoo on a high speed metal head skirt. Around midday we ran for home and came across a couple of very flighty schools of fish working the Paddock near Green. We managed to extract five reasonable Spotties on small slugs but it was hard work as they only stayed up for short bursts. We left them chopping to get home and dried off

Well done guys in no doubt trying conditions.

I am heading out myself before the weekend and ill keep an eye out for schools now.

Did you use the Rouse I reckon the mackrel will be schooling up out the end near the reds?

Good going getting out on boxing day with that weather. Mate of mine was out there in a big kevlakat and got 1 wahoo as well and a good 8 kilo snap. Good to see spotties this far south at green. Good feed there boys well done.
