eagle cuda 300 anyone got one

I am after a cheap sounder for a 12ft tinny can get an eagle 300 for about $140 or a humminbird piranha 160 for about $170 anyone got any of these or no of any others in that price range

i have a humminbird piranha 160 in my little boat and it is very basic but reads at all speeds and has given no trouble.

Latest Bias catelogue Eagle 300 $99 brand new. I had one of these in a previous tinnie, worked fine. If you go to the eagle website there is a simulator you can download.

I have one on my yak, works ok for reading bottom never seen anything that looks like a fish on it.

Had a 320 in my little tinny. Sort of shoped the bottom then it crapped out completely just out of warranty. Now use a Lowrance from the big boat (which has a Furuno).

Probably OK for shallow stuff for the price.
