In the pics, I’ve just sat the structure scan tranny in an existing hole from the old transducer to see how it would sit. Obviously it's not centred ect.
I was considering putting it here and the normal transducer in between the next two ribs on the right. My concern with this placement is the bait pump intake might interfere with it – its about 1.5cm lower than the unit (the intake is on the second rib out on the left whereas the sscan tranny is in the gap between the 2nd and 3rd rib on the right.) Does structure scan shoot pefectly horizontal?
This would be solved if I move the sscan tranny in one space and put the normal tranny where the old one was, but then i'm concerned about interference from the motor.
What do you guys think?
