Hi All,
I have heaps of GPS points on my 957c Humminbird and am buying a boat with a HDS 10. Does anyone know about transferring the points across? From what ive read i buy an SD card and 'copy' them from the Humminbird, and then majically import them on the HDS??

Any info would be useful as im not that keen to write them all out and transfer by hand.

Cheers

well your on the right track with dumping them on a sd card, then put the card into the hds, go to pages, scroll to settings, down to files, select memory card enter on data and you should come up with a dialog box saying,"are you sure you want to import "data.usr" and press enter.
two things, this is how i did it on my hds5 im asuming hds10 is same?
not sure if the files from hum to low are the same format?
if tis doesnt work you maybe able to change the format or put them in manualy.

cheers jp

If they are not usr format you can use GPSbabel to convert into usr.

Heard about bable from the guys at stones corner.
