Just bought myself a new stradic 3000FI, will be spooling it up with 4lb and 8lb on each spool. not sure on a rod to put it on yet....anyone have any ideas?? Budget upto $350. Looking for something around 6'6" to 7' and a shortish butt. Will be working sps for flatties mainly but a few suicide missions snag bashing for jacks and barra and some metals for some macky fun.

Like the samurai range, I have a NV007 baitcast and so far very impressed.

Mate get an Egrell Bear rod, either of these would be great:

Bear S4
Medium 7' 4-6kg (8-12lb) 5-14g (3/16-1/2oz)
Great rod for Bass, yellowbelly and larger flathead when casting larger jigheads & spinnerbaits, and is ideally suited for Snapper off the close inshore reefs.

Bear S6
Medium-Heavy 7' 6-8kg (12-16lb) 9-30g (3/8-1oz)
Dezigned with estuary, impoundment and light inshore fishing in mind when using larger jigheads in deeper water.
