Hi, Looking at buying a kayak to mainly fish in the estuaries and bay. Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with moken 13 kayaks. Thanks Scott

Am a happy owner of a Feelfree Moken. Been paddling it around for some 2 yrs
It is a tad on the heavy side at some 35 kg but the weight factor has not really been an issue to date even tho i'm only some 60kg, 5'6" and of the senior aged generation.
Have floated down rivers, bounced about in windy choppy estuary waters and ridden 3mtr swells out on the big blue all no problem. Even came to shore ok thru a surf run (paddled like hell and beat the wave breaks)
Love the rudder, the big front hatch for fish storage, the 10 scupper drains keeping the area pretty dry, tho do have an inflatable cushion to keep my bum dry
Have fitted it out with a fish finder, an anchor trolley, and have a "Windpaddle sail which is so good in following breeze62350

Good luck with your choice
