Having built a few rods over the years ...... you just cant build a decent rod for under $100 ........ but realistically it is $200 for one with quality componants ........ So it will be buyer beware

It says RRP is $250 do you think the seller is lying?.Also can an IM7 carbon blank be different to another IM7 carbon blank or are they made from same material?:(

My opinion is you might find it not quite being as good as you hoped for two reasons. Firstly it is 2.1m long 15-24kg, that is a lot of leverage against you and the fight will usually be more drawn out and painful with longer rods. Try looking for something in the 1.7 to 1.9m range and preferably a short stroker design for a much easier fishing experience.
Secondly, you might find being IM7 graphite for essentially an offshore trolling/bottom bashing rod it will be easily damaged by knocks from sinkers / boats / people.

The build quality could be anything from average to good and is entirely unknown factor when you cant handle them prior to purchase.

Personally i would be looking around for a Sabre 6455h stroker rod 2nd hand for around the $100 mark and it will outlast you.

Maybe not ..... you just cant tell unless you see them in a store - Pacific bay make fairly decent componants.
IM7 is the type of graphite ...... how the blank is constructed is the important thing.
In the end .... $250 for a game rod is cheap so there maybe nothing to loose when paying $75

Thanks for input mate the reason i went 2.1m is beacause ill be land based off the rocks i thought a bit longer would benifet me off the rocks but im still learning so any input is great

I have recently picked up one of their 10-15kg spin sticks and the build looks good. I had a chance to check out some of their other rods and was quite impressed with some of them. If you dont want to spend a fortune then go for it but be prepared for it to not be quite as good as a $300 rod

$75 delivered is just amazing really.
You can pay that to get a rod shipped from some stores.
Brad Smith makes some great lures. Not sure why his name is involved on the ebay ad.

I have bought from there and the rod I got was quite good. It certainly wasn't a g loomis, but for the money not bad. I got a 2-4 kilo baitcaster rod im7 and it broke after about 20-25 uses but they exchanged it no problems. Very good to deal with. They are based in loganholme.

I have a couple of those camo sticks (both baitcaster and spin) as backup rods and for $40 - $45 you certainly wont find better or even come close to making anything similar. As has been said not outstanding but for that money why not.

Cheers Chris

I have seen some rods that are hand made in China going for $50 and on AU shelf they are asking $180.00.
