Some news regarding the boating access scheme managed by the PRFMA
(pine rivers fish management association)
There are currently permits available still for junior and general boating access scheme

We have made a small change to our boating access scheme to allow juniors 12-15 years to paddle there own kayak canoe or boat whilst being in company of an adult on or in another craft

We have done this upon requests from permit holders who would like to have there junior family members join them on the lake.

For more info please access our internet site

The lake is starting to settle down after its refill and some good fish catches have been reported lately
Redclaw are still ravenous and pots are containing some real crackers at the moment Folk who use pots are getting a great feed with little effort

Thankyou Tim

No permit is required to catch redclaw anywhere at north pine as they are not stocked Also if cought they are not to be returned to the water As they are a declaired feral The same goes for tilapia fish There is a few public access points but these do not allow access beyond the waterline by a boat or kayak so pots will have to be thrown in on a rope from the bank
a sips permit is required to fish with a line and hook as northpine is on the stocked impoundment permit scheme
Currently no fishing access by a vessel is allowed anywhere else other than via the PRFMA boating access scheme
Here is a photo of a nice 50cm bass and some redclaw of average size
Hope this helps Tim.

Currently no fishing access by a vessel is allowed anywhere else other than via the PRFMA boating access sceme RECLAW OR ROD AND REEL
Hope this helps Tim.

Just to clarify, you ARE allowed to fish with rod & reel from the shoreline & use redclaw pots from shoreline in recreation areas around Lake Samsonvale.

You do not have to have an key to access Adsett's Rd for these.

Cheers,
