Feeling like a kid around his birthday or at xmas time here. I am off to Fraser for 9 days come Friday morning and I can't wait.
I grew up fishing Moreton Bay and Double Island/Inskip Point regularly but I have never fished the beach side of Fraser island. I landed on the inside of the Island at Dave's landing (or beach?) from a trailerable trimaran out of Tin Can bay and fished all through the strait.
This trip I am going along with a couple of good friends and their mates who go yearly so I am in good knowledgeable hands. Pity we'll miss the M&G by a day.
Report and plenty of piccys on my return for sure.
Won't be any shortage of fresh water and the tanks will be full for sure as it's fairly pissing down at the moment by the BOM radar.

You sound like 9 other guys I know, we leave week this Saturday (7th). So you heading back on the 9th? Where r you guys staying? We are up in a house at Orchid Beach. The weather gods are coming good for you by Sunday. Should see some West south west winds coming through which is perfect tailor weather. If all reports are right you might have to work for your fish. Told let anyone tell you that there not there. Just work any deep gutters with good sand banks behind them and you will find them. Always have a great trip and any update would be great
