I just spent the past week every afternoon out at the weir. Two yellas and two euros.
Yellas around 4 lb and euros around 10 lb.
The water is crystal clear and just flowin over. Good to see the river lookin so good.
I was quiet discusted in condition of the banks. Stubbies, tyres, old car bodies etc. People are not happy until the adjoining land holders lock us out, and I couldnt blame them.
I would like to take this opportunity to try and orginise a weekend tothank the land holder for their support, and clean up the area, as well as a comp and also live entertainment. I have bands arranged willing to perform for nix.
I will approach the council for their support also.

Hey hkonk good to hear that the River is clear up there. How far upstream of Dalby is that weir?
I was just down at Chinchilla last week, you can read my comments on the Milky Condamine Thread.

Dalby is about 1hrs drive from the weir. I have heard from water rescources staff that after the weir, the water does dissapear underground, somewhere.
