Does anyone know why BCF dumped HI-Seas Grand Slam Braid from their product line?
Is it because it was not selling well or it has some problems?
Anyone on here using it, comments welcomed.

Ido know if B C F have people not happy with a product on quite a few occasions they stop selling that product and return the unsold stock to the supplier.

I have noticed that BCF have reduced their range of brands and items dramatically. Hardly worth going to have a gander there anymore as they never have anything new to look at or buy. Even their website is containing items that are not stocked still.

I really liked that braid, im suprised they dumped it. trolled, bottom bashed and threw poppers with it in vanuatu in the 30lb and 80lb sizes, felt really nice and i know for sure i would buy it again.

Me too, I like it better than Fins, which seems to flatten out on the spool while Grand Slam seems to stay round, if you know what I mean.

I bought some 20lb a while back and was quite happy with it on a BTR 3500, although I had only been using it for a month or so when I lost the the rig overboard :-[ .
On Sunday I see the BCF near Springwood had a specials bin with it at half price or less.
I bought two 300 metre spools, for about $55...
I guess I posted here to see if I had wasted my money because of some unknown (to me) problem with the stuff.
Time will tell.:-?

BCF, the last 3 times i have been i have been willing to spend some hard earned and every time the shelves are damn near empty, needless to say i kept on wlaking and spent it at the local tackle shop and got some great service from them, dont think i will shop at BCF anymore.

Horses for courses.
If I can get $140 worth of good braid for $55 I'll gladly forego the free advice.:-X

Besides some of the guys in BCF do know their shit, found a very good one at Cannon Hill, especially when it came to catching Snapper around Mud.

Simply Because a whole batch was Brought in Bulk... So what is left will eventually be sold off at reduced Prices which is what is happening...
Its a spectra fibre braid and isn't that bad at all

Seahunt, i agree if they had any on their shelves, my local BCF has mostly young people there and so far never found anyone that knows crap, they may be some good ones, if i had one i would prob go back.
