Was doing a clean up & sort the other day when I found a picture I thought I would share.
The picture was taken when I worked underground at Gunpowder copper mine near Mount Isa.
The tinny was used to place/position submersible pumps in areas flooded by water.
The water was then pumped out for allowance of access to the once flooded areas by vehicles.
Where the picture was taken was about 1.62 km underground.
I dont know how long it had been there as the work areas were highly acidic.
You had to wash your work vehicle down after every shift otherwise it would literally fall apart (eg. bolts rusting rapidly & breaking).
Saw 2 brand new Landcruiser utes do this (over 3 months)as the vehicles weren't washed at the end of every shift.
