Has anyone got any suggestions of some good strong 2oz jig heads in about size 8/0? I straightened a squidgy jig head with 30lb braid under not so heavy drag on the weekend.

I use TT or Nitro jig heads, although usually not above about a 3/0.
No issues with either, although the Nitros look stronger.

If you want a bloody strong 2oz jighead I can give you a couple of my Shad and Minnow 2oz with either 6/0, 7/0 or 8/0 Mustad 34184 hooks. These hooks are very heavy wire and forged. See my separate post.
PM me if you want a few to test.
Cheers
