G'day BB,

Never mind Phil - he has his anal moments ;P

The launch at Minnie is always reasonably consistent, the sand can get a bit drifty the further around to the north from the cleaning tables you launch, but up nearest to them its pretty right. Usually by half tide is good, no surge in the bay to deal with. I'd reckon by this time of the year the snapps should be coming on, there are ribbons of reef that run from the sand blazes on the main land through to the solitaries at 3k, 5k, 7k, 9k - they are very obvious - so if you head east, and watch your sounder you will find fish holding reef sections and plenty of them.

I haven't been down there for a little while but it has always produced when I've been down there.

All the best

what Rhy's said :)

the high tide with a southerly does get a little harder but no problem you just have to think a little and do it right instead of stuffing around and talking to all and sundry haha

spent a week there the last school holidays

there are some horse Pearlies 3 to 4kg around atm and the snapper are in close for the taking, come on the weekday and some westerly winds for the early shallow water (10m to 12m) snapper in the dark, get smashed nearly every time with 30lb braid and 40lb fluoro leader but it great fun ;D

hey Rhys when you coming down this way again? :)

cheers Murf

ps and it is Minnie Water just like Agnes Water (no S) hahaha
